Commissioning and customer training on site
Commissioning and system training at the customer’s site are important elements of KKS after sales services. The problem-free operation of the cleaning or surface treatment system and the customer’s ability to correctly operate the system have a huge impact on stable processes, product quality and therefore customer satisfaction.
For this reason, the customer’s processes, guidelines and training requirements are taken into account and implemented by the after sales service team while the system is being commissioned. In order to ensure a high product quality and process reproducibility, training and knowledge transfer in both process and systems engineering are planned and implemented in accordance with individual user requirements. Customer-specific training on operation, maintenance and troubleshooting is provided at the customer’s site. The objective is to ensure optimum operational readiness and productivity. The various activities performed by the customer’s employees are also addressed individually.

Regular maintenance and servicing by KKS guarantees high system availability
Thanks to sophisticated maintenance and servicing concepts, KKS is able to guarantee maximum technical availability of its cleaning and surface treatment systems and therefore high production reliability. Our maintenance services include topping up and replacing operating materials and consumables as well as the scheduled replacement of wearing parts. We also inspect parts that are subject to heavy stress and ensure that they are functioning correctly. Preventive maintenance and servicing guarantee high system availability. This prevents system downtimes and failures. Customers can benefit from these after sales services by concluding a maintenance contract with KKS. KKS follows “good documentation practice” in the documentation of all maintenance and servicing activities performed.
Calibration
Sensor or measuring chain calibration is used to determine the correlation between the measured variables output by a sensor with the associated measurement uncertainty and the corresponding measured values of a highly precise standard value under defined conditions. Calibrated sensors are a prerequisite for precise, reliable and reproducible measurement results. Calibration is one of the most important requirements for effective quality assurance. We place great importance on the correct and verifiable calibration of your measuring equipment. This is why we use certified process calibrators to perform the tests.
Telephone support and spare parts management
Qualified service technicians with extensive expertise in process and systems engineering provide fast, reliable support over the phone to our customers worldwide. A remote maintenance connection (SECOMEA) enables our after sales service technicians or software engineers, with the customer’s permission, to access the customer’s surface treatment systems and provide immediate support. In the event of a fault, the problem can be diagnosed and eliminated quickly. The fast and reliable provision of spare parts for long-lasting KKS systems directly reduces the impact of expensive downtimes. Thanks to the careful selection of suppliers, KKS is able to provide the vast majority of spare parts quickly and reliably. Spare parts packages are offered for all systems.

Repairs and servicing on site
If it is not possible to solve a system problem via remote maintenance, our after sales service experts will travel to your production site as quickly as possible. An efficient spare parts management system ensures that any spare parts that may be required are sent in advance or brought along by the technician so that the fault can be rectified within a reasonable period of time.
Equipment conversions and modernizations
Defects in old systems are often the reason for carrying out comprehensive conversions and modernizations. In most cases, these measures can increase the original performance of the system:
